All of this is video documented. On May 2 2022 Officer Robinson , a DA Investigator in Van Nuys CA in plain clothes , gun hidden and badge hidden, approached video journalist Zhoie Perez who was filming at Van Nuys Court . There are 6 videos showing Robinson either covering his badge with his hand or having it turned over, his gun hidden under his shirt. As Zhoie Perez tried to pass he rammed Perez smashing her with his arm, without saying a word. Perez warned him not to do it again or she would protect herself. The only words he said to her were “I wish you would!” Perez sped pas getting in front of the subjects she was filming, Robinson pursued her right behind as she got far ahead she turned around and stopped Robinson was right in her face grabbing her cameras. Perez raised her arms above Robinson trying to film over top of him and her arms remained above as the subject passed by. Robinson in an act of violence turned and pushed his arm between them striking the subject and then striking Perez again. Perez struck out with an open hand saying “Don’t touch me!”. Robinson then pulled his hidden service revolver and ordered Perez to the ground. Arrested her for battery on a police officer. Robinson , unknown to the victim , knew who Perez was from a security detail at Jackie Lacys house 2 years before where Perez was protesting being shot and Jackie Lacy refusing to prosecute the shooter. Robinson was in a car with blacked out windows that only could be seen into by placing an iphone with a small screen up to the window and Robinson was on the phone. He had no personal interaction or dialogue with Perez , never stepped from the car or spoke to her . The lies. The report. 1) Robinson claimed he gave Perez verbal instructions to stand back putting out his arm out. That is a lie, he physically rammed her, he was totally silent other than the response to her statement of self defense saying “He wished she would!” 2) Robinson claimed the subject of Perez’s camera said “You would be pepper spraying a police officer? ” when Perez said she was going to defend herself. . That never happened, the subject said “Did you just threaten someone ?” ( the alleged crime was that Perez knew she was a police officer, which she never did, but Robinson made clear to the subject that he knew who Perez was ) ) 3) Robinson said at the parking structure he stood facing Perez with his police badge clearly displayed. That is a lie, he never faced Perez till he was in the darkness of him being inside the garage and video shows the bade blank side turned up . 4) Robinson said he was putting out his arms to create distance because Perez’s camera was inches from the subjects face and that Perez was pushing Robinsons arms arms . This is a lie because the video shows Perez stopping and turning with the subject far behind , Robinson never created distance, he never stuck out his arm, he was grabbing Perez’s camera so Perez raised the camera above her head and video shows it was never close to the subjects face . Perez was totally still not moving as the subject passed by. As the chest camera shows Robinson stuck his arm between Perez and the subject striking the subject and smashing Perez with his elbow right into her body camera. Only then did Perez strike out saying “Dont touch me” . 5) Robinson claimed while walking down the sidewalk he switched position with the Perez several times. The video shows that is a lie Perez got far ahead of the subject and was there the entire time. 6) When LAPD arrived for transport (incident # 446, Booking # 6370982) Robinson told officer Anderson that his police identification was clear and visible, front facing the entire time. Video shows that Robinson went to extreme efforts to hide his badge and never had it out till he pulled a weapon on Perez when it fell over and he immediately turned it over hiding it again. Preliminary 8) Under oath Robinson claimed he had his police id, badge and gun at the Jackie Lacy incident 2 years before, their first encounter , but stills l found later from that day proved Robinson never having his id around his neck or anywhere visible in the vehicle. And his gun and badge were hidden from view the entire time.On that day he is wearing the same plain clothes he wore 2 years later. 8) During his testimony Robinson would lie multiple times about easily verifiable things. He lied about Perez’s height and weight in an effort to seem more menacing. Robinson said subject was 6 foot one and 190 pounds, when the state ID lists 6 ft and 175 pds, three weeks prior to this incident Perez had a physical at the Veterans Administration Healthcare center and where she weighed in at 168 pounds. 10) He repeated all the same lies on the stand that he did on the report despite video showing them to be false and added multiple other verifiable lies in the preliminary transcripts, too many to list. Summery: What is clear is Robinson knew who Youtube video journalist Zhoie Perez was and that she had no idea he was as he never identified and hid his badge, gun and id from her the entire time. Using that lack of knowledge to entrap her after assaulting her multiple times. This was a planned manipulation to get her to respond and it is clear from him hiding he was police and lying in\] the report and testimony. All his investigations for the court should be put under extreme scrutiny as he is more than willing to provide false testimony .
