Description: On January 30, 2021, Paterson Police Department Detective Sebastian Gomez was arrested in Oakland by the Oakland Police Department for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Breath Test after Oakland Police initially observed him operating a vehicle with visible damage. Det. Gomez pleaded guilty to Refusal to Submit to a Breath Test. He served his suspension in December of 2023.
