Description:   
SLEO II Thomas Nealis was found guilty of Aggravated Assault 2C:12‐1B(7) ‐ a third‐degree  
crime. It is alleged that, while off duty SLEO II Nealis caused serious bodily injury to another, specifically by punching the victim in the face causing significant facial damage and choking the victim until they were unable to breathe.SLEO II Nealis was suspended and resigned pending outcome of criminal charges. At the time of resignation an Internal Affairs Investigation was still pending.
