Description: While off‐duty, Officer Garcia operated her personal motor vehicle, causing a motor vehicle accident which resulted in damage to a utility pole. Officer Garcia left her vehicle at the scene and did not report the accident. Waterford Township Police later encountered Officer Garcia and issued traffic summonses to her. Officer Garcia was subsequently found guilty of the following traffic offenses; failure to report an accident and careless driving. Officer Garcia was suspended 25 days.
