## Statement

A woman entered Acree's house on 1/11/2022. She was arrested by the Cadiz Police Department; she was transferred to the Trigg County Jailer to be housed at Christian County Jail. Sheriff Acree told the jailer to stop off at the TCSO first. Acree took the woman out of the vehicle, into the TCSO out of view of anyone. The woman's statement, and subsequent civil filing, is he assaulted her and threatened to kill her. Acree denied this until a plea agreement was signed on 11/28/2023 to which he admitted to 4 misdemeanors (menacing, misconduct). The agreement is attached.
