## Statement

Officer was investigated and fired for violating POST rules of misconduct, lying, behavior unbecoming of an officer and posed a safety risk to the institution by corresponding with inmates and was accused of having sexually enticing conversations with inmates. When the employee reapplied to the institution, the then applicant lied by failing to disclose this contact and other ethics violations. Employee was walked out of the facility and fired after internal investigation was complete in accordance with IDOC procedure.
