## Official Statement

Terry Lee Yetman, a former Bossier City Police Department officer, presents a severe Brady/Giglio credibility concern based on his guilty pleas to five counts of sexual abuse of an animal and one count of possession of pornography involving juveniles. The conduct occurred while he was a law enforcement officer and resulted in a 20-year hard-labor sentence, sex-offender registration, and appellate affirmance of the sentence. Because these convictions involve criminal sexual misconduct, moral turpitude, abuse of authority, and extreme judgment failure, any case in which Yetman participated as an investigator, arresting officer, evidence handler, report author, or witness requires Brady/Giglio review and disclosure under *Brady v. Maryland* and *Giglio v. United States*.
