## Statement

On February 11, 2026, the Eleventh Circuit Judicial Council found that a U.S. district judge committed judicial misconduct by engaging in an extramarital affair with a high-ranking law-enforcement officer ([Kelley Collier](https://giglio-bradylist.com/individual/kelley-%20collier), APD), having sexual intercourse in chambers during business hours within hearing distance of staff, attending a partisan political event, and making material false statements to the Chief Circuit Judge and Chief District Judge during the investigation. The Judicial Conference Committee on Judicial Conduct and Disability affirmed that order on May 22, 2026.
