## Official Statement

A *Brady* violation occurred when the assigned case worker provided false or misleading information to a government agency, thereby creating a material misrepresentation of fact. In addition, the case worker failed to properly format the submitted document in accordance with agency requirements, including omission of applicable identifying information and the required signature of the responsible case worker. These actions resulted in the suppression and distortion of material evidence, impairing the integrity of the record and obstructing the fair administration of justice.
