## Official Statement

On May 28, 2020, during an arrest operation later reviewed in a 2022 investigation, Cincinnati Police Officer Cian McGrath was found to have violated departmental policy through discourteous conduct. According to the Citizen Complaint Authority (CCA), McGrath used profane language in the presence of children and directed a threatening remark to a resident, stating, “We’ll work on getting you put out on the street, alright? Next time, answer the door for the \[expletive\] police.” The CCA concluded that his behavior was unprofessional and inconsistent with the standards required of law enforcement personnel.
