## Official Statement

Donna Reid Kelso—the spouse of one of the officers—was also indicted on charges related to unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit the same offense.

These indictments were part of a grand jury investigation that uncovered what authorities described as a “rampant culture of corruption” within the department, prompting recommendations to abolish the agency altogether.
