## Statement

Acting Sheriff Chris West of Canadian County and President of the [Oklahoma Sheriff's Association](https://www.oklahomasheriffs.org) admittedly "marched" at the January 6th "Insurrection" at the United States Capitol. He is well known for his "Constitutional Sheriff" rhetoric and there is evidence that he may have participated more that he is willing to admit to. He has confirmed he was present at the Capitol on that day, but denies the evidence of him participating in the "storming" of the capital building.
