## Statement

After a Probable Cause Affidavit (CPC-2022-00019) was filed in Carter County District Court on 5/09/2022, Lowman was arrested on 5/16/22 in connection with sexual assault allegations from an inmate he transported on April 7, 2020. It is alleged that he assaulted the inmate 3 times that day in separate locations. At the time, Loman was employed under Sheriff Chris West of Canadian County who said "I hope it's not true, but if it is, we need to nail his rear-end to the wall and send him away for a long time,".

Loman is currently charged in Carter County with:

- Forcible Sodomy
- Sexual Battery
- Engaging in a Pattern of Criminal Offenses
