On or about December 21, 2019, Assistant Police Chief of Porum Police Department, David Kash, was arrested on allegations of child sexual abuse after an investigation by OSBI.

Kash was Charged with Two (2) Felony Counts of Child Sexual Abuse in [CF-2019-01053](https://www.oscn.net/dockets/GetCaseInformation.aspx?db=muskogee&number=CF-2019-01053&cmid=24690) in Muskogee County and was later sentenced after pleading guilty in January of 2021.
