According to an affidavit, Jonathan Jones was at Dythe's home with the weapon used in the shooting when the two officers arrived. Harper and Ananias looked at the damage to Dythe's car from the shooting and met with her, her boyfriend, Devon Jones, and his brother Jonathan. Knowing of Jone's involvement, they advised Dythe to not tell anyone they had come by, and did not report the crime.
