Description: Officer Valdivia was suspended 10 days for engaging in a personal conversation via text messages with a female suspect of an investigation. Thereafter he used a dept. vehicle without authorization, picked up the female and drove outside the jurisdiction of Union City. Officer Valdivia failed to activate his body worn camera while interacting with the female and failed to document such actions.
