## Official Statement

On or about October 22 2018 Officer Yeoman was fired for cause. Yeoman was off duty when he went to the boat races and demanded a free pit pass because he was law enforcement; a man with Yeoman also said that he was law enforcement too (which he was not) and Yeoman did not correct him; the man received a free pit pass. Yeoman used his position as law enforcement for personal gain and was dishonest when he failed to correct an untruth. Yeoman has contested his termination and the appeal is pending.
